Connecticut Public Radio’s news director, Jeff Cohen, asks The Connecticut Mirror’s Mark Pazniokas how someone interested in running for governor or other statewide office gets started.
It’s a process, Pazniokas notes, that begins long before the state party conventions in the spring, and often entails driving across Connecticut on snowy winter evenings in hopes of lining up support from local town committees.
